Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

About the role

Basic information: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Basic UP $4500 Location: Kaki Bukit Bonus provided Job Scope: Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets based on technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for MEP systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary works. Monitor project costs, track variations, and implement cost-control and value engineering measures to enhance profitability. Prepare tender submissions and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to support procurement processes. Administer MEP contracts, including variations, claims, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and assess project risks related to cost and contractual matters, and propose appropriate mitigation strategies. Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses to support project and management decision-making. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant regulations, codes, standards, and quality requirements. Additional Information: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience in M&E works within the construction or commercial building sector. Strong technical knowledge of ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems. Detail-oriented with strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Able to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
