Senior IT Executive

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure & Operations
• Manage and maintain servers, networks, storage systems, and end-user devices.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Technical Support
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot complex IT problems and implement timely resolutions.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and business applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Cybersecurity
• Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
• Monitor cybersecurity threats and ensure endpoint protection.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate security updates.
• Ensure compliance with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Asset & Vendor Management
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
• Manage IT procurement and vendor relationships.
• Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance.
• Ensure warranty and maintenance contracts are up to date.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Develop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure regular system backups and recovery testing.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Team Collaboration
• Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior IT staff.
• Collaborate with business units to understand technology requirements.
• Conduct user training and promote IT best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant IT infrastructure and support experience.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco (CCNA), ITIL, CompTIA, VMware, or cybersecurity certifications are advantageous.
• Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
• Firewall administration
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Endpoint security and antivirus management
• Database fundamentals (SQL Server/MySQL)
