About the role

This position is located in the Office of Intelligence Operations, Operational Intelligence Division, Geospatial and Intelligence Systems Branch in Washington, DC. The work of this position includes performing team leadership functions, conducting system audits and reviews, and serving as an information technology and contracting coordinator for OIO. To qualify for this position at the GS-13 grade level, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience must include all of: Analyzing, evaluating, assessing, maintaining and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of information management systems (Treasury Enforcement Communication System (TECS), the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS), the National Crime Information Center (NCIC); AND Planning and conducting system audits and reviews; AND Serving as the primary liaison between IT experts, technical specialists, and external law enforcement agencies to coordinate system deployments, ensuring seamless information exchange and operational security; AND Preparing a variety of statistical and technical reports; AND Working on a team who develops and maintains the information management systems. (ie. Treasury Enforcement Communication System (TECS), the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS), the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
