Physical Science Technician (program Manager)

About the role

You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN (PROGRAM MANAGER) in the NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER (300N.1), OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing, coordinating, and implementing response training plans of the Shipyard radiological casualty for Portsmouth and NRMD-Point Loma. Experience utilizing knowledge of the radiological program principles, practices, and requirements. Experiencing assessing the effectiveness of project training plans as well as assessing response to real-time casualties and ensuring cleanup actions are in line with governing documents and manuals. Experience communicating priority timelines of projects across multiple departments. Experience coordinating training between multiple projects and sites.
