Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, design documentation, and engineering submissions.
• Review and coordinate structural designs with architectural, interior design, façade, and MEP disciplines.
• Conduct technical reviews of design drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist project teams in resolving structural and construction-related technical issues.
• Review shop drawings, construction drawings, and fabrication details for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in virtual design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize design, cost, and constructability.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor design changes and maintain accurate engineering records throughout project execution.
• Provide technical support during tender, construction, and project completion stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in commercial, architectural, hospitality, retail, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and building structural systems.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows is advantageous.
• Familiarity with international engineering standards and building codes.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple project assignments.
• Experience supporting international projects and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams is preferred.
• Licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines.
• Experience supporting projects in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, or other international markets.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination and digital collaboration platforms.
• Experience in architectural, façade, interior fit-out, or specialty structural works will be an advantage.
