Public Affairs Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the Public Affairs Office, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Headquarters. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience independently planning, developing, and executing a comprehensive public affairs program for an organization. 2) Providing strategic communications advice to senior leadership and managing complex and sensitive public relations issues.
