About the role
The HRIS Manager is a hands-on, strategic, and operational leader responsible for maximizing the value of Workday across the entire HR ecosystem. This role oversees daily platform operations, system configuration, integrations, security, data integrity, and enhancement roadmaps. Responsibilities

- Execute HRIS roadmap aligned with HR and organizational strategy.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Workday to drive efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes.
- Champion change management initiatives related to system enhancements and new features.
- System Management
- Oversee configuration, optimization, testing, deployment, and daily operations of Workday.
- Lead Workday releases, enhancements, and feature adoption in partnership with internal teams.
- Ensure Workday delivers intuitive, high-quality user experience across all modules.
- Recruiting Module Ownership
- Serve as the primary system owner of the Workday Recruiting module, one of our largest, most active, and most business-critical modules, responsible for configuration, business process design, and ongoing system health.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to continuously evaluate and implement enhancements that improve the experience for both internal team members and external candidates throughout the full hiring lifecycle.
- Manage a consistent pipeline of configuration changes, feature releases, and optimization initiatives to keep the Recruiting module current, compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Security Architecture & Governance
- Design and manage Workday security roles, domain policies, and business process security.
- Implement least-privilege models, SoD controls, and ensure IAM alignment (SSO, MFA, API security).
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and access reviews to ensure compliance and system integrity.
- Technical Configuration & Integrations
- Lead complex configurations including BPF, calculated fields, dashboards, custom reports, and integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs).
- Ensure scalable, reliable integrations with 3rd-party vendors.
- Maintain documentation, design specifications, and system governance.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Protect data accuracy, security, and governance across all HR systems.
- Build reporting, dashboards, and analytics that enable self-service and data-driven decisions.
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline business processes.
- Reduce manual effort and optimize workflows using Workday capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop HRIS analysts and technical resources across support tiers and analytics.
