Responsibilities
- Faculty enjoy a collegial work environment that allows for work-life balance and are expected to be available to students online and in person as needed.
- Teaching and actual course load may vary with other responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching & Curricular Oversight (approximately 80% of time)
- Teach a variety of graduate courses in MS in Organizational Leadership and /or Corporate and Organizational Communi cation degree programs.
- Engage in curriculum development, program assessment, and the integration of emerging trends and practices into the academic offerings.
- Mentor and advise students, guiding them in their academic and professional development.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with industry partners.
- Service & Professional Development (approximately 20% of time)
- Serve on committees that support the mission of the program and the vision of the College and wider University.
- Promote the discovery and dissemination of knowledge through scholarship, research, creative activity, and professional development.
- Travel
- In addition to supporting the campus, occasional travel may be
- required to the University's global network of campuses. Qualified candidates must be prepared to work with global student populations
Requirements
- Terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Organizational Leadership, Organizational Studies, Communication, Management or a closely related discipline by appointment start date or later .
- Evidence demonstrating a history of professional practice and engagement in the field.
- Substantial industry experience in organizational leadership, corporate communication, or community-focused organizational practice, preferably at a senior or executive level, with demonstrated ability to apply professional experience to teaching and learning .
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
- Experience in online or hybrid teaching modalities.
- Experience with industry partnerships, consulting, or collaborations.
- This is a non-tenure track, annually renewable position. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes being present on the Boston campus, required evening hours and the possibility of weekend hours. Travel to the University's other campuses may be required .
