Provide counselling and complex case management for clients accessing the Opioid Treatment program within the Rankin Court Treatment Centre working as part of the St Vincent's Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, brief interventions, and discharge planning for vulnerable clients engaged in treatment services Develop and implement complex care plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring holistic consideration of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs Ensure treatment strategies are client-centred and developed in consultation with consumers, incorporating routine collection of outcome measures Advocate for clients and carers within and outside the hospital system, including support with Guardianship Tribunal or Supreme Court processes where required Apply advanced case management skills to support safe, coordinated, and effective care across multidisciplinary and external service systems About you Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Understanding of the health and social issues affecting people who use drugs, with knowledge of harm reduction approaches in substance use treatment Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a high-demand environment, managing competing priorities through strong liaison, negotiation, and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications, email systems, and electronic medical records Clinical skills in biopsychosocial assessment, counselling, therapeutic interventions, case management, advocacy, and discharge planning Why work at St Vincent's?
