Job Profile Summary: Directs measurement, sampling, and testing in a designated service area. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Supervise, train, and direct employees in calibration, use, and maintenance of chromatographs, titration equipment, spectrophotometers, and other laboratory equipment as needed. Support of Measurement Functions for all NGGP and NGL Operations, as needed. Direct installation and operation of new equipment. Verification of accuracy within control limits. In-depth understanding of mass balance measurement, with an emphasis in NGL balances. Equipment maintenance, including but not limited to gas chromatographs, sample cylinders, composite sampling systems Provide technical input to projects, support ongoing QA/QC troubleshooting and performance. Monitoring accuracy of all data transmitted to stakeholders, including routine hydrocarbon composition, Sulfur species, and other test results as needed. This is to include Fidelity Plots, control charting, or other QC techniques, as needed. Coordinate and/or communicate with other departments, as needed. This includes routine collaboration with other lab teams across the ONEOK system. Periodic review of sampling procedures, communicating necessary changes to outside personnel. Periodic review of relevant test methods, including but not limited to ASTM, GPA, API, and AGA standards. Education Bachelor's degree in physical sciences preferred. An applicant would be considered equivalent with a combination of formal education and job related experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with field operations and gas measurement methods Ability to apply math and algebraic formulas Advanced understanding of Microsoft Teams and Excel preferred Fluent in communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions; including conducting oral presentations Licenses and Certifications None required Travel Occasional overnight travel required to other asset locations.
