Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Strategy & Execution

  • Inspections: Conduct daily or weekly facility walkthroughs and routine equipment inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Administration & Budgeting
  • Budget Management: Create and adhere to the annual maintenance budget, including CapEx projects.
  • Documentation: Record and track maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience as a maintenance manager in industrial/manufacturing maintenance, preferably in a custom fabrication environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Fabrication Equipment: Direct experience with CNC routers, laser cutters, woodworking machines, and metalworking equipment (welding/cutting).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and motivate workers.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechatronics engineering.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Typical Working Conditions
  • Environment: Must be able to work in a workshop environment, which may include loud noise, dust, and heat, with some on-site installation work.
  • Hours: May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet event deadlines.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines and to work on site, which may include lifting, standing for long periods, and working in varied conditions.
