Associate Content Ingestion Analyst - XML We are looking for an Associate Content Ingestion Analyst to join our Ingest team in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to work on end-to-end content workflows. Overall, the Associate Content Ingestion Analyst is r esponsible for supporting the on-going A cquisition and Transformation of content data through established processes into assigned product, ensuring all data is captured accurately and in completeness. About You Must be graduate with a Bachelors or Master's Degree (Except Pharmacy, Ph.D., MCA, M.Tech) with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Can be a fresher or a talent with 6 months - 1 years' experience in content ingestion or any Content related process. Proven experience in Content Ingestion, Curation, Analysis etc.) What will you be doing in this role? Develop and maintain XML transformation mappings using agent, create and optimize XPath expressions (Absolute & Relative) for accurate data extraction. Implement advanced XPath functions, including nested conditions, if-else logic, and dynamic node handling. Apply Regular Expressions (Regex) to clean, validate, and reshape metadata fields Analyze and process publisher XML data to extract key metadata (DOI, title, authors, volume, issue, etc.). Validate transformed XML against DTD/XSD schemas to ensure structural and data integrity Debug and troubleshoot XML mapping issues, including namespace handling and inconsistent data structures Utilize XML editing tools such as Oxygen XML Editor and Notepad++ for analysis and validation
