Forward Deployed Engineer - AI, Automation & Business Systems - Up to $9,000 - Central - Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis & Transformation
• Engage stakeholders to understand existing workflows, operational challenges, and business objectives
• Document current-state and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardisation, and automation
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs with business users
• AI & Automation Initiatives
• Identify opportunities for AI enablement, automation, digitalisation, and system integration
• Assess processes for suitability across automation, AI assistance, ERP integration, or manual operations
• Recommend solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and user experience
• Support implementation of AI and automation tools across business functions
• Stakeholder & Project Management
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
• Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and deployment activities
• Gather user feedback and drive solution adoption across departments
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Maintain process documentation, requirements, workflows, and project artefacts
• Contribute to reusable automation frameworks, templates, and best practices
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through process reviews and optimisation efforts

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Min 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation, ERP, or IT-related roles
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, systems integration, and data flows
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and system specifications
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working in a regional, multi-country environment and collaborating with offshore teams
• Preferred Experience
• Exposure to AI, Automation, RPA, or Digital Transformation projects
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio)
• Knowledge of SAP processes such as FI, CO, MM, or SD
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data analytics tools
• Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, ECBA) will be advantageous
• Understanding of governance, security, data privacy, and AI adoption frameworks
