As a Fusion Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and field installation of customer HDPE purchases in addition to warehouse duties. You must be service-oriented, have a high level of attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Additional duties will include: Fabricate custom HDPE orders to required specifications Installation of pipe, fittings, and fabrications on-site Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety Pick materials for orders, assemble, and package the materials for shipment Load/unload trucks and operate fusion equipment and forklift safely Maintain/repair HDPE pipe fusion equipment Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity Ability to develop comprehensive product and product application knowledge Excellent customer service skills Mechanical inclination Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently Possess a valid driver's license Preferred Skills: Previous experience with or knowledge of HDPE pipe and fittings Fusion Certification would be an asset but not required, we will certify Salary Range - $50,000 - $70,000 EMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment, and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
