Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old AND have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school. (Valid documentation will be required upon hire.) Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and evenings. Must be able to perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, pushing loaded book truck, and frequent light to moderate lifting up to 40 lbs independently. Must be able to travel to other camps to fill in temporary staff shortages. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Previous customer service experience; library experience preferred. Knowledge and experience in clerical and administrative procedures such as managing files and records, compiling statistics, to include good organizational skills. Have a strong command of English language to include written and oral skills. Knowledge in Microsoft Programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse customers. Knowledge in any makerspace technology domain to include: 3D printing, graphic design, virtual reality, embedded systems, coding, robotics, digital music production, video editing, or digital animation.
