POSITION DESCRIPTION: Valsoft is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting to join our Corporate Finance team in Montreal. Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Consolidation & Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in the period-end close process, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and external financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional corporate teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information that supports strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the end-to-end consolidation process across multiple entities and currencies. - Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules for external reporting. - Perform comprehensive reviews of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow movements for financial statement preparation and external auditors. - Maintain strong financial controls over month-end closing procedures in accordance with the financial reporting framework. - Prepare ratio analyses and compute financial covenants for compliance requirements. - Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and proactively recommend solutions to management. - Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting. - CPA designation or actively pursuing the CPA designation. - 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within a multi-entity and multi-currency environment, with exposure to audit activities considered an asset. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with Oracle FCCS, NetSuite, and data visualization tools is considered a strong asset, along with excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
