Van Metre has a Grounds/Janitorial Service Technician position available at The Piedmont Raleigh Apartments in Raleigh, NC! The Grounds/Janitorial Service Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Service Manager and Property Manager, for the overall cleanliness, appearance and basic maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations of the residential community. Essential duties include but are not limited to: Clubhouse and common area amenity cleaning/janitorial needs; empty trash daily, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, cleaning windows, disinfecting restrooms and high touch areas, etc. Restocking of products Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping, pressure cleaning Have knowledge or be willing to learn; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting Have knowledge or be willing to learn; repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors Assist maintenance technician and/or maintenance supervisor with make ready units for new move‐ins Assist with scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance program Coordinate special projects as directed
