Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage civil engineering activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and BESS.
  • Prepare civil engineering designs and documentation, including earthworks, access roads, and platform layouts.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal engineering standards, tools, and templates.
  • Support site feasibility studies, due diligence processes, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering, particularly in earthworks, grading, drainage, roads, or similar, ideally within utility-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently on complex topics.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Solid understanding of geotechnical, hydrological, and civil design principles and standards.
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, Spanish, French, or Italian are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with sound practical engineering judgement and a strong interest in renewable energy projects.
  • Experience with GIS and hydrodynamic modelling tools (e.g. HEC-RAS) is considered an advantage.
