Design Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings and fabrication details for custom glass projects.
• Translate design concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions while coordinating with project, production and site teams.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, material schedules and provide technical support for budgeting, costing and quotations.
• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure accurate pricing and effective cost control throughout project execution.
• Verify technical drawings and production information to support fabrication, procurement and installation.
• Contribute to value engineering, process improvements and the development of technical standards and drawing libraries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction or a related field.
• Experience in technical drafting and detailing within construction, interior fit-out or specialist trades.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with fabrication drawings.
• Strong technical understanding, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across design, production and commercial teams.

Additional Information

Design Coordinator Role Purpose To bridge design, fabrication and commercial functions by translating design concepts into buildable technical solutions while supporting project costing and delivery. This role works closely with the Design, Project Management, Production and Commercial teams to ensure projects are technically sound, commercially viable and efficiently executed.
