Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and continuously improves EHS policies, programs and procedures required to maintain a safe workplace and adherence to regulatory requirements. Works collaboratively with stakeholders to develop practical solutions that supports business objectives.

- Supports emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and business continuity. May be called after hours to support emergency incidents onsite. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Team. Must be able to wear a respirator.
- Contributes to the development of manufacturing, maintenance, and R&D safe work practices.
- May manage external resources on limited scope projects.
- Travel between Lyten facilities is required approximately 10-20% of the time.

- Minimum Requirements:
- Basic understanding of business process improvement methodology such as Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile, is desired.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Ergonomist (CIE), and/or Certified Instructional Designer/Developer (CIDD)
- This is an onsite position and is not eligible for relocation.
- Compensations Range:
- The expected base salary range for this position is between
- $128,200.00 - $192,400.00 The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.

The EHS Staff Professional will develop, continuously improve, and implement EH&S programs to effectively manage risk and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations at Lyten's facilities in California, Nevada, and Illinois. This role will be based out of Lyten's facility in San Leandro. The Staff EH&S Professional will also foster a positive EH&S culture in a growing, fast-paced startup environment.
