Lightship's mission to modernize and electrify RVs demands building cutting edge electronics and controls. We are seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Android UI/UX and Systems Interfacing. In this role, you will be the primary architect of the user experience as it relates to vehicle controls and transforming telemetry data from the Lightship RV into an intuitive mobile interface. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of our cloud infrastructure. To succeed, you will develop a strong understanding of how our systems work and how the users interact with them. Onsite/Hybrid Work Hybrid roles at Lightship require onsite work from our offices Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency developing with Kotlin for Android
• Experience using Flutter for cross-platform application development
• Basic knowledge of UI design and reactive UI patterns
• Basic knowledge of ProtoBufs, MQTT, WebSockets, and restricted-bandwidth data protocols
• Experience with Embedded Linux and Linux system services
• Experience working with databases such as SQLite
• Experience using version control tools like Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
