About the role
Job Summary Join a dynamic healthcare environment and play a key role in supporting operating theatre operations through billing administration, procurement coordination, inventory management, and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Billing & Charging Administration
- Verify daily surgical charges to ensure accuracy and timely interfacing with billing systems.
- Follow up with vendors, nursing staff, clinicians, and relevant stakeholders on charging matters.
- Liaise with patients and internal departments on billing-related enquiries.
- Maintain and update charge forms and charge codes within corporate systems.
- Procurement & Inventory Management
- Support the procurement of operational and capital expenditure items, including medical supplies, equipment, and services.
- Coordinate the end-to-end procurement process, including obtaining quotations, raising purchase requests, arranging deliveries, and processing invoices and delivery orders.
- Work closely with internal departments and vendors on inventory management activities.
- Monitor inventory consumption, contract balances, and procurement requirements.
- Track utilisation of operational and capital expenditure budgets within the assigned area.
- Manage and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Operations & Administrative Support
- Assist with staff roster administration and preparation of operating theatre schedules.
- Support the handling and follow-up of patient feedback when required.
- Manage staff locker assignments and administration.
- Compile operational statistics and reports to support process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of supplies and consumables.
- Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma qualification from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative, operations support, or clerical experience.
- Experience in healthcare, hospital, or clinical environments will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
