Job Title: Social Worker - Safeguarding Team Location: Durham Pay Rate: £32.73 Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client's Safeguarding Team in Durham. We are committed to protecting children and supporting families through high-quality social work practice. The role follows a hybrid working model - typically two days in the office and three days from home (subject to change based on service needs). As an experienced Social Worker, you will play a key role in delivering statutory services and interventions to children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, Public Law Outline (PLO), and Court proceedings. What will your responsibilities be? Complete Children & Families assessments in line with statutory requirements. Chair Core Groups and Child in Need meetings. Write Children in Our Care reports and plans. Attend PLO meetings and contribute to pre-proceedings work. Prepare Court evidence and attend hearings as required. Work directly with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and Court processes. Undertake other social work-related tasks as directed by your manager.
