Vault Prep Cook Organization: Sanza Food Service Department: Sanza Vault Reports To: Vault Sous Chef FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise, FL - On-Site Schedule: Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays Job Summary The Vault Prep Cook is responsible for basic hot and cold food preparation including slicing, chopping, sautéing, and frying. Duties include following recipes to prepare sauces and salads, mixing salads, arranging vegetables, fruits, and cheeses on platters for service, and cooking and plating hot food items for buffet service. This role provides support across all Vault buffet service operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare required food items for the daily event menu Assist in the storage and rotation of delivered food and paper products Work in a neat and orderly fashion at all times Keep work area and kitchen in a clean and organized state Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and all equipment Additional projects, tasks, and events as assigned
