Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities, including structured play, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children to learn and thrive
- Observe and monitor children's progress, identifying and addressing any developmental or behavioural concerns
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on their child's development and address any concerns
- Collaborate with the teaching team to implement the curriculum and ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory authorities
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or Student Care Centre (Early Childhood / Early Years) certificate
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for nurturing and supporting the development of young children
