Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. FP&A Analyst plays a key role in driving the organization's financial performance by independently preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial data. This role partners closely with cross-functional and operational leaders to evaluate results, identify insights, assess risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision making. The position requires in-depth financial expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to apply best practices to improve reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and business relevant insights Analyze actuals vs. budget/forecast and independently interpret performance drivers; proactively identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models, scenario analysis tools, and reporting templates to strengthen planning and decision support Drive core components of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles, partnering with budget owners to understand assumptions and improve forecast accuracy Prepare and analyze deferred revenue reporting, including balance movement, roll-forwards, and trend analysis to support monthly forecasting and management review Lead margin analysis and oversee the accuracy of vertical margin calculations Provide analytical support for pricing strategy, cost optimization, business cases, capital investments, and enterprise initiatives Partner with cross functional teams and other functional leaders to evaluate performance and provide strategic insights‑ other functional leaders to evaluate performance and provide strategic insights Serve as a resource and informal coach for junior and mid‑level analysts by reviewing analysis, sharing best practices, and supporting development Lead portions of cross functional initiatives, prepare executive ready presentations, and support strategic planning with data driven recommendations Maintain strong governance over financial processes, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, audit standards and internal control requirements Maintain high ethical standards and serve as a trusted advisor by providing fact‑based, unbiased financial insights-even when recommendations are unpopular Job Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required (preferably in accounting, finance, or related field); advanced certifications or advanced degree is a plus 3+ years of relevant finance or FP&A experience Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling); proficiency with BI/reporting tools preferred Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle/SAP) and financial reporting tools (e.g. OneStream/Hyperion) Track record of AI adoption to improve processes and productivity Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial planning processes Ability to work on-site during core business hours; extended hours may be required during quarter and year-end close as well as budget and forecast cycles Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: In depth financial acumen with the ability to solve complex analytical problems using multiple data sources and informed judgment Demonstrated ability to enhance reporting, streamline processes, or develop tools using best practices and business insights Strong communication skills: able to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for senior business partners Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Strong influencing skills and a proven ability to partner effectively across departments High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to take ownership of complex workstreams and cross functional deliverables Experience leading process improvements across reporting, forecasting, and planning activities to increase accuracy, reduce manual effort, and improve decision support A proactive and highly motivated individual with a commitment to excellence #LI-MM1 IND123 Target Market Salary Range: Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
