Responsibilities
- Maintaining warehouse facility to ensure proper handlings of chemicals, namely, receiving & dispatching.
- Operate batch processing equipment which include tanks, pumps, charging systems, bulk loading and packaging systems and forklifts.
- Ensure incoming materials are stored, stacked, and distributed according to company procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Manage stock levels by participating in stock taking and cycle counting. Take inventory of raw and intermediate materials for ordering purposes.
- Prepare finished goods for packing and dispatch.
- Produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company's procedures.
- Prepare drums and tote tanks for loading and shipping which includes labelling in accordance with company and government regulations.
- Operate all pumps for shipping and receiving of bulk materials and cleaning tote tank when needed.
- Operating of company forklifts & vehicles in day-to-day operations.
- Blending of chemicals according to company blend sheets.
- Perform all required site inspections & housekeeping.
- Follow and promote continuous improvement of performance, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Practice good housekeeping in all areas of the facility.
- Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of warehouse function.
- Basic Requirements
- Minimum high school graduate or CSEC
- Supply Chain Certificate will be a plus
- 2 years of logistics related experience would be an asset.
- Proficient in operating forklifts, with forklift license.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
- Knowledge and understanding of plant and warehouse operations and ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Experience with SAP will be a plus

- Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
