Software Engineer

About the role

Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using extensive (T)SQL knowledge (joins, subqueries, aggregates, stored procedures, SQL agent jobs, etc.). Build and maintain .NET/C# applications, with opportunities to contribute to architectural decisions. Extend and maintain a Django platform Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and automation. Optimize database and application performance, implement CI/CD pipelines, and conduct thorough testing. Work within a complex business rules environment, translating requirements into technical solutions. Create and maintain clear architectural and technical documentation. Collaborate directly with customers to understand their specific needs and workflows (no sales involved). Deep expertise in database development and (T)SQL. Adaptable to various programming languages with strong general development experience. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Solid understanding of performance optimization, CI/CD, and testing practices. Ability to work effectively in a complex business rules environment. Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus but not mandatory). A strong drive for self-development, learning, automation, and optimization.
