Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Set up the structures to manage the systems in scope and undertake full responsibility for the quality of work produced by the Tescom project team;
• Ensure that the deliverables are in accordance with the agreed contractual specifications and are completed on schedule;
• Serve as the liaison between the client and Tescom's team project members;
• Publish regular progress reports;
• Prepare and submit minutes of all meetings;

Requirements

• Possesses at least ten (10) years of working experience in managing a large-scale IT project involving application/product development, maintenance and operations;
• Completed at least three (3) IT development and maintenance projects in the most recent five(5) years in the capacity of project lead/manager;
• Possesses good knowledge of the project management-related processes, standards, tools, solutions, products;
• Possesses strong analytical skills and proactive in providing solutions;
• Responsive to the queries and requirements from the client;
• Customer-oriented and possess experience in dealing with IT requirements from the business perspective;
• Preferably has experience working on IT projects with the Singapore Government;
• Education & Certifications:
• Possesses at least a recognized IT/Computer Science Degree or a related discipline;
• Preferably acetified IT Project Manager under the Project Management Professional (PMP),Certified IT Project Manager Programmed (CITPM) or its equivalent;
• Preferably acertified Scrum Master by NUS-ISS or an equivalent Singapore Recognised Institution;
• Personal characteristics:
• Possesses good communication (verbal and written) skills in English;
• Good work attitude.
• Fast learner and able to quickly understand complex systems.
• Able to work fast to address user issues quickly and accurately.
• Quality conscious.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and customer service.
