About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the FST Department at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Directing and managing the development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans for complex major aircraft weapons systems that encompass legacy, new and emerging technologies, defining the scope, interface requirements, policy issues, performance criteria and milestone objectives for the program; 2) Developing and coordinating ILS documentation, ensuring proper preparation, development and application of Naval Air Systems Command and higher authority policies and procedures; 3) Coordinating logistics support for all active configurations of assigned systems, utilizing appropriate software models, tools and techniques to assist in optimizing life cycle logistics costs and to achieve cost-wise readiness improvements; 4) Serving as a team lead, directing other logistics personnel in the development of ILS planning for supportability; 5) Identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
