Additional Information
The future of ecommerce product data is being rewritten with Generative AI-and Amazon's Catalog Systems are at the center of it. Our team is re-envisioning how Amazon builds, enriches, and evaluates product data at scale. We're using foundation models, multimodal LLMs, and autonomous evaluation systems to transform the way customers discover, compare, and purchase products. As a Sr. Technical Program Manager in the Ads Nova organization, you will own the technical execution and strategy for product data enrichment workstreams. You will be responsible for ensuring predictability and transparency for any users who want to enrich product data, developing enrichment strategies that maximize ROI while maintaining high-quality product data. You will translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and coordinate the design, development, testing, and deployment of GenAI-powered enrichment capabilities across multiple engineering teams. You will work closely with applied scientists, software development managers, engineers, and product managers to define how models are selected and deployed for various enrichment tasks. You will establish robust technical requirements around latency, performance, and quality metrics, create implementation plans that span multiple systems, and ensure seamless integration of new data sources into Amazon Ads' AI training pipelines. If you are excited by the challenge of bringing GenAI enrichment capabilities to production at global scale, this role offers an opportunity to shape the technical foundation of Amazon's next-generation product data systems. Key job responsibilities 1. Technical Requirements & Architecture: Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications, defining performance standards and system architectures that enable parallel team execution. 2. Enrichment Strategy & Model Selection: Develop enrichment strategies that determine optimal model selection for specific tasks to maximize ROI and quality. 3. Cross-Team Coordination & Execution: Create and track project milestones across teams while serving as the primary technical contact to resolve ambiguities and remove blockers. 4. Implementation Planning & Resource Estimation: Identify system changes needed, estimate effort with development managers, and create multi-team implementation timelines. 5. Predictability & Transparency: Establish visibility mechanisms that provide stakeholders clear insight into enrichment pipeline status, performance, and delivery timelines. 6. Technical Escalation & Risk Management: Coordinate technical escalations, facilitate resolution of design disagreements, and communicate revised plans when risks materialize.
