Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment and Duty Team Location: Hull Pay Rate: £35 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker to join its client's Assessment and Duty Team in Hull. Join our client's Assessment and Duty Team, where you'll be part of a dedicated and supportive group committed to delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and their families. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing vital statutory support and intervention. You'll benefit from flexible working arrangements, regular supervision, and collaboration with experienced colleagues in a positive and inclusive setting. What will your responsibilities be? Deliver statutory social work services to children, young people, and their families in line with current legislation and Hull City Council procedures. Provide direct intervention to support children and families in crisis or at risk of breakdown, helping them remain safely within their family or with identified carers. Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring the child's voice is central to all decision-making. Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies to develop and implement effective support plans. Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports in line with professional standards. Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice with your line manager. Contribute to a positive team culture, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues as needed.
