Supplier Quality Cum Quality Control Inspector

About the role

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate, approve, and monitor suppliers' quality performance Manage supplier non-conformances , corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Support new supplier onboarding Conduct periodic supplier audits and follow-up actions Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production teams Maintain supplier quality records and reports Ensure products meet drawings and customer requirements Review supplier's inspection records and reports JOB REQUIREMENT NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification Minimum 1 year experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality Experience in supplier audits and supplier management Preferable from oil and gas industry Good knowledge of API and ISO 9001 Familiar with workplace health and safety Ability to conduct supplier audits , assessments, and evaluations Knowledge of root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D) Understand incoming quality control (IQC) and material inspection processes Basic understanding of regulatory and customer requirements Good communication and coordination skills Analytical and problem-solving mindset Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams Detail-oriented and quality-focused Good discipline and adherence to procedures
