Responsibilities
- Partner with our internal customers to ensure that all revenue-impacting activities of the company are identified, evaluated for revenue recognition, and recorded appropriately and efficiently
- Provide guidance and training to more junior team members
- Maintaining the billing system including new customer and contract setup
- Ensure monthly invoices are generated according to company practices
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment
- Complete month-end close processes accurately and timely
- Posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions
- Use independent judgment and discretion to manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in month-end close process, including posting journal entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete any additional tasks as they arise
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with revenue accounting
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Be curious and continually seek to improve processes
- Highly detail-oriented

- Base Salary Range
- The base salary range for this position is: $85,900 to $107,400. This range is specifically for Cambridge, MA
