Mechanical Engineer - CAD

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 3D models and engineering drawings using Siemens NX
• Manage design data, revisions, and configuration control within Teamcenter
• Support mechanical design development under guidance from senior engineers
• Assist with preparation of technical documentation and design deliverables
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design integration
• Follow quality and configuration management processes in a regulated environment
• Required Skills:
• Practical experience using Siemens NX
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM
• Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and configuration discipline
• Ability to work within structured engineering processes
• Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering , or equivalent military experience .
• Desirable Skills:
• Experience in nuclear, power generation, or other safety-critical industries
• Knowledge of ONR safety principles, INPO guidance, or similar regulatory frameworks

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will join Derby team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. You will support design activities using Siemens NX and Teamcenter , contributing to the creation, management, and release of mechanical design data in a highly regulated engineering environment. This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers on complex, high-integrity systems. Location: Derby On Site: 2 times per week Clearance: BPSS Experience Level: 1- 5 YOE
