- Operational Technical Leadership

- Support the Software Delivery Platform Manager in facilitating in regular tooling vendor service review meetings, managing any escalations that need to be made into the vendor in support of tickets raised that require urgent attention.

- Platform Delivery Technical Leadership
- Technically lead end to end delivery of new software delivery platform capabilities, features, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Create, maintain, and own delivery plans for delivering platform initiatives, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Coordinate cross-team delivery schedules, ensuring Software Delivery Platform roadmap items have appropriate interlocks into Product Managers/Owners and into Delivery Teams.
- Track and communicate progress against delivery plans, proactively identifying slippage and implementing corrective actions.
- Remove delivery blockers and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
- Help prioritise platform capabilities and improvements based on customer, engineering, and business needs
- Drive consistency in tooling, environments, development pipelines, and release processes.
- Work closely with Service team to support smooth transition into service of new platform capabilities through the STP process(es).
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing delivery platform services by gathering user feedback, analysing bottlenecks and applying best practices, ensuring all improvements are captured and prioritised within platform backlogs.
- Intercept, triage and prepare for changes communicated by US Central Comms relating to all technologies contained within OneDev where changes will have impact to UK Delivery teams.
