REQ13388 Senior Manager, Supply Chain (Open) POSITION SUMMARY: Senior Manager, Supply Chain manages to plan, develop, execute and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for the supply chain functions specializing in procurement of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) and/or marketing and promotions category. This includes procurement of products, materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services aiming at cost reduction and process improvement as well as managing vendor effectively; and to train, develop, mentor and assist subordinates in all of the departments that fall within the supply chain process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and executes strategies for supply chain functions to aggressively reduce cost of key supplies and services, reduces material lead times and inventory requirements and associated working capital needs Identifies needs and potential suppliers, soliciting bids, reviewing bids and selecting suppliers, negotiating and awarding contracts Creates integrated processes among Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process Provides leadership to the Procurement Team, mentoring to staff and ensure all staffs are adequately trained Partners with other executives in Engineering, F&B, Hotel Operations, Entertainments, Marketing etc. to achieve company and functional goals Prepares, reviews, and renews trade agreements, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for price and acceptability of items Oversees all activities related to procurement of commodities, from intent to purchase through delivery Negotiates or supervises negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services with suppliers and subcontractors Ensures subordinates and business units compliance with Supply Chain policies and procedures and company's rules and regulations Establishes project procurement procedures to ensure deliverables meet the individual client and project requirements Manages changes proactively Manages responsible for appropriate executed procurement in terms of safety, compliance to rules and regulations, quality, schedule, and budget KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Cost reduction Inventory turns and accuracy of inventory On time to Customer Supplier management and consolidation Compliance with Supply Chain Policies and Procedures by all business units Risk management Knowledge of world class sourcing tools with implementation experience
