About the role

We're looking for a driven and inspirational Sales Team Manager to lead a high-performing team within our Direct Sales Centre. You'll play a key role in delivering ambitious sales targets across PMI, Dental and Cash Plan products, while creating a positive, motivated and results-focused team culture. Responsibilities

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of Sales Advisers to achieve and exceed KPIs and sales targets
  • Creating a high-performance culture through effective coaching, regular feedback, and clear objective setting
  • Conducting team meetings, 1:1s, and formal performance reviews
  • Monitoring performance and implementing development plans to drive continuous improvement
  • Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring service levels and rota adherence
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Handling escalations, complaints, and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes, performance, and customer experience
  • Building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensuring all activity meets regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or call centre environment , ideally in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong coaching and performance management skills with a passion for developing others
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Ability to make decisions confidently within agreed parameters
