Relief Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with meals and encourage healthy nutrition and hydration
• Promote independence and support individual choices
• Encourage participation in activities and social opportunities
• Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of care

• This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
