Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will:

  • Dysphagia training and experience managing adult swallowing disorders.
  • Experience working in adult community services at Band 6 or Band 7 level.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills.

Job Title: Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist Banding: Band 6/7 Location: North East Start Date: ASAP Rate: £24.00-£32.00 per hour Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time Job Overview We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join a community-based service in the North East. This role involves working with adults presenting with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties, with a particular focus on dysphagia management. You will work across community settings, supporting individuals to maintain safe swallowing, effective communication, and independence within their own homes and local environments. This position is suitable for an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 therapist who is dysphagia trained and confident managing an adult community caseload.
