Your favorite GUM brands including Orbit, 5 Gum, Eclipse, Extra, ect. *Additional Compensation and Total Rewards Information Below Required Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift 5pm/6pm - 5:30am/6:30am This schedule repeats every two weeks. Week 1: On Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Off Wednesday & Thursday) Week 2: On Wednesday & Thursday (Off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday ) Job Purpose: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and performing mechanical repairs on all assigned equipment, including basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level (e.g., packaging, conveying, processing or facilities equipment, etc). What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment Basic Computer skills required (e.g., Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. Required to participate in a stringent onboarding and training program within the first 7 weeks of employment (no vacation time will be approved during this time) Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, handling and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces. Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift). Ability to read, write and speak English.
