- Manage content and coordination for the monthly All Hands meeting - gathering updates, coordinating department presentations, and supporting leadership messaging
- Draft and manage the monthly COO newsletter and other company-wide communications touchpoints
- Coordinate with People function and other operational teams to support updates and company-wide announcements
- Partner with the Associate Director to maintain a communications calendar that reflects key internal and external milestones
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in communications, PR, or media relations
- Background in an agency or lean in-house team
- Mission alignment and intellectual curiosity are non-negotiable; healthcare or health tech experience is a plus
- Operationally excellent. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams without things slipping and experience building the systems that make that possible.
- Media-hungry. You follow the news, find the angle, and invest in journalist relationships as an ongoing practice.
- Strong writer with range, with ability to shift voice and format across a media pitch, an internal announcement, and a social post.
- Strategically curious. You ask the right questions before diving in, flag risks proactively, and know when to push back
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field

About This Role We are seeking a Communications Manager to join Boulder Care's lean, high-impact communications team to deliver strong execution across external and internal programs. This person will run the day-to-day operation of Boulder's communications function - executing our media relations strategy, managing awards and speaking opportunities, and growing our company's LinkedIn presence to expand brand visibility and credibility. They will also manage key internal communications touchpoints, keeping Boulder's team informed, aligned, and connected to our mission through recurring programs and ad hoc moments. The Communications Manager will work within a clear strategic direction and is expected to bring sharp execution, operational discipline, and genuine curiosity about the work.
