As a Community Center Manager with Bell, you will lead and direct community center operations and motivate community staff members to provide service to residents and maintain a high level of resident satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include organizing all community events, coordinating instructor scheduling, collecting monthly fees, and supervising staff to ensure policies and regulations are followed. What we can offer you: Opportunities for career growth Total rewards benefits package Family health insurance, 401(k) match, Vacation, Personal Days, and Sick time Customized training programs Associate referral bonus plan Diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment A culture that empowers you to make a difference What you'll do to make a difference: Provide excellent service to all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community Maintain master schedule for all club-house events Create and distribute the community newsletter Monitor facility usage and ensure the facility is properly opened and closed according to schedule Supervise staff to ensure that fees are properly collected and records are adequately maintained Oversee proper administration of vendor rental contracts (i.e. paddle boats, tanning beds) Supervise and assist with setup and/or movement of equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability for special events, etc. Inspect swimming pool, deck, hot tub, mechanical equipment, etc. to ensure safe operations and a clean condition Assist maintenance staff in maintaining swimming pool and hot tub equipment by following all safety/OSHA requirements and performing minor repairs Ensure safety precautions are followed and identify possible safety hazards in pool area Regular attendance and punctuality What you bring to our team: BA/BS in business, sales, or related field, relevant experience, or a combination Experience of 2+ years of customer service and 2+ years of multi-family leasing Experience in recreation, community, or health club employment is a plus CPO, Lifeguard/water safety, or CPR certification/training may be required Ability to handle pool chemicals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong marketing skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite preferred Demonstration of Bell Core Values and a professional image Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team Exceptional customer service and organization Physical requirements of the job: Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs. Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials Must be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects #LI-JR1 Compensation Range Hourly: $22.00 - $26.00 Incentive compensation opportunities are available and are performance based.
