About the role

Arctic Wolf is looking for a Quality Engineer 2 to join the SOAR team. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks using modern testing tools and technologies.
  • Create and execute test strategies for new features, enhancements, and platform initiatives.
  • Build end-to-end automated test suites covering UI workflows, APIs, and backend integrations.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality and faster releases.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify gaps in test coverage and drive quality improvements early in the development cycle.
  • Validate applications deployed in cloud-native environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for SOAR platform and UI releases.
  • Contribute to testing best practices, frameworks, and processes to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
  • About You
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress for UI automation; and Pytest, Rest Assured, Postman/Newman, or similar for backend automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience testing REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Functional understanding of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Passion for improving software quality and building reliable, maintainable test solutions.
