Senior Finance Business Partner (Financial Planning & Analysis) An established organisation is seeking an experienced finance professional to partner closely with senior leadership in driving strategic growth, commercial performance, and operational excellence. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making through financial planning, business partnering, performance analysis, and commercial insights across the organisation. Some of the key responsibilities will include: - Partner with senior leaders and business stakeholders to deliver commercial insights that support strategic planning, business performance, and operational decision-making. - Lead the preparation of financial models, annual budgets, forecasts, and scenario analyses to evaluate business opportunities and support long-term planning. - Analyse operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability, optimise costs, and enhance business outcomes. - Support the evaluation of strategic initiatives, investments, partnerships, and expansion opportunities through robust financial analysis and business case assessments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Operations, to support workforce planning, resource allocation, and productivity improvement initiatives. - Facilitate regular financial performance reviews with budget owners, providing meaningful insights and challenging assumptions to strengthen financial accountability. - Prepare executive-level financial reports, presentations, and performance updates to support management and leadership discussions. - Drive continuous improvements across finance processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools to enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness. To be eligible for this role you will require: - Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CA, CPA or CFA considered advantageous. - Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or Finance Business Partnering within a sizeable or complex organisation. - Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to translate financial data into commercial insights. - Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience supporting strategic decision-making and influencing senior business stakeholders. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions in a dynamic environment. - Experience with planning and reporting platforms such as Anaplan and other dashboarding tools would be an advantage Please contact Brendan Low by emailing your CV directly in Word format to brendan@theedgepartnership.com.
