Roles & Responsibilities Research Grant Development: Support stakeholders in identifying funding opportunities, strengthening grant pipelines, and improving grant application outcomes. Proposal Advisory & Grant Management: Guide stakeholders through pre-award and post-award processes, including proposal reviews, budgeting, compliance, and submission requirements. Research Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to support interdisciplinary initiatives and collaborative funding opportunities. Capability Building & Funding Awareness: Organise workshops, engagement sessions, and training initiatives to enhance grant writing capabilities and awareness of funding schemes. Research Strategy & Operational Support: Maintain awareness of funding trends, policy developments, and strategic priorities while supporting research development initiatives across the organisation. Key Requirements Degree from a recognised university; postgraduate qualification will be advantageous. At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in research development, grants management, or related functions within research-intensive environments. Strong writing and editing skills, with experience reviewing and strengthening research proposals. Good understanding of grant application processes, budgeting, and compliance requirements. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
