Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the E/E network architecture for Robotaxi L4 vehicle platforms
  • Define communication concepts for Ethernet, CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay , and automotive middleware systems
  • Develop network topologies for high-bandwidth sensor and compute platforms
  • Define communication interfaces between ECUs, HPCs, sensor systems, and cloud/backend services
  • Collaborate with software, systems, cybersecurity, and hardware architecture teams
  • Support integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities for vehicle communication networks
  • Define network redundancy, fail-operational, and safety concepts
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards and cybersecurity requirements
  • Manage network-related change requests and architectural documentation
  • Support supplier alignment and technical reviews

  • Professional Experience
  • Extensive professional experience in automotive E/E architecture or vehicle networking
  • Several years of experience in autonomous driving or high-performance compute vehicle platforms
  • Proven experience in designing complex automotive communication architectures
  • Experience in OEM or Tier-1 development environments
  • Experience with safety-critical and fail-operational systems
  • Strategy & Continuous Improvement
  • Shape the technical project management framework for next-generation vehicles
  • Introduce scalable processes, methods, and tools
  • Drive lessons learned and organizational maturity
  • Required Technical Skills
  • Automotive Network Architecture Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay, SOME/IP, DoIP, and related protocols
  • E/E Architecture Development
  • Strong understanding of distributed and centralized vehicle architectures including HPC-based systems
