Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state/local authorities; adherence to cGMP guidelines
• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
• Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.
• Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to process orders including accurately picking, performing quality control checks, and sorting.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Performs other duties and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 - 2 years related experience preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Radiofrequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred
• Ability to consistently lift 50 Ibs and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift required
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse
• Willingness to work in refer 36℉-42℉ for up to 10 Hours

Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity. Schedule: Monday to Friday- 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
