Facilities Technician

Requirements

• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and basic proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and initiative.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and climb for extended periods; ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, USPS) is a plus.

The Facilities Technician supports the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the organization's physical workspace while also managing shipping and receiving activities. This role ensures the facility is functional, efficient, and well-maintained, and that all incoming and outgoing materials are handled accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable balancing facilities tasks with logistics duties. In addition to salary, we offer an annual bonus and equity in the company.
