Responsibilities
- Essential Job Functions & Tasks
- Provide engineering project management support to the Planning and Engineering organizations. Specifically, manage and execute the special project and cross-functional needs of these organizations in the execution of their Capital and O&M plans.
- Develop project estimates and internal budgets for assigned activities. Identifies, clarifies, resolves, and initiates solutions to complex problems that require multi-functional or organizational interfacing and/or multi-disciplined analytical techniques.
- Develops plans for identifying and mitigating risks associated with effort. Reaches outs and communicates across boundaries and effectively manages change. Possesses the authority and knowledge to make some technical decisions based on calculated risks without management review.

Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET* accredited institution; degree preference is in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil engineering
- OR
- Bachelor's degree in engineering technology in a program accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). *ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
- Acceptable alternatives are:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
- Work Experience:
- Typically has acquired 7 or more years' experience in Transmission engineering, construction or operations, or other equivalent related experience such as Distribution or Generation engineering, construction or operations experience.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively supervise and direct the work of assigned personnel and the ability to effectively and professionally deal with co-workers and customers is required.
- Professional Engineer license desired.
- PMP or equivalent preferred.
